confused to see all the reviews and all the discussions about the physics and graphics,

some said the graphics are out on pc, some says its well pointed,

is it worth the current price then? I want to buy it, but maybe it best to wait?

For the gameplay alone its amazing. Just if not a bit better than TS4. Negatives for me are as follows:

Player likenesses are hit and miss
Women and Men play in ranked against eachother and to counter this it seems the devs made certain females *Cough* Sharapova completely OP. Were talking about Nadal levels of power here.
Finally the devs seem to believe that just because a player is a legend like Agasi, they somehow were better than most players playing today.

don't buy it until/if sharapova gets nerfed. literally 90% of my losses are coming from sharapova players.. not even very good players, she's just impossible to beat.

Graphics are absolutely fine on PC, runs beautifully too

Gameplay is great, only real complaints so far are AI serving is pitiful and slow compared to how hard they hit in rallies, and some serve actions like Alcaraz looks really bad.

Definitely recommended, hopefully it will continue to improve.

What are you on about? The stadiums look fantastic, the lighting is a huge upgrade over any other TS game. The only thing that looks actually bad are the players (some look okay)... but man, the courts/environments look bad to you? It's the best looking tennis game easily.

Highly recommend. Gameplay, animations and overall graphics are amazing. Yea the players could look better but when you’re playing on the default camera, you’re not going to notice that. I say worth it now if you know you will play it for hours but if you think you’ll just casually play then wait for a sale.

If you need further convincing, just look at past tennis games that have come out since Top Spin 4. None of them can touch the gameplay of 2K25 let alone a 13yo game. Have you seen TieBreak? It’s terrible. They can have Joker, Nadal, etc. I’ll take the superior gameplay of TopSpin.

I don't think it's very good. LImited options, weird account registration requirement, lots of bugs like face skin tone not matching legs and arms ... it just feels like it needed a good chunk more time to be fleshed out before launching. Barebones. OK if you are a hardcore tennis fan because the act of hitting the ball is pretty good. Personally, I think most people should watch and wait maybe for the next iteration.

Also the need to be online, when 2K shuts down the servers in two years you can't use half of your game anymore. But it plays ok so far, need to get better too give a final verdict.

this is ridiculous indeed, I legit have 100% winrate if we excluse sharapova. Dudes that are average playing her can destroy u if u are not at 100%. Every little mistake is instant punishment when they're just spamming power shot in the direction u're not, 0 skills rewarded
