Will it have 4 online players 2v2? hopefully not like before and you could online do split screen multiplayer

That is good question... We need doubles online with possibility to find and play with players around network and not only to team up with a local mate in same pc/console... In virtua tennis 4 you can create lobbies and random players (and friends offcorse) can join and enter in a doubles game...They must do it like that

hmm Wa missing this thing from TP4? So you could only play online 2vs2 with a mate sitting next to ypu and not with a remote online friend?? Really i hope they add this option cause i still love to play doubles online in Virtua Tennis 4, its a must i sign for this 100%!

Thanks for sharing these news, for me not online doubles is a deal breaker, and i don't like this : "we are hoping to offer more options in the future" . I know some games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Trailout that "they were hoping/planning/considering to offer mp mode in the future" that never happened... So after that no biy on launch for me, i will wait doubles online to be added in game and then buy in lower price..

That is very disappointing. Really a large element of fun that will be completely missing. Other tennis games have this, correct? Other online games are able to handle how many multiple people playing at once? Why can't 2K25 show them how it's done?

There are games like COD Warzone that 150 players from all platforms meet each other in same game/map ,in NBA 2K series by same company you can meet 50+ players in Park mode and play 5 vs 5 , why is so difficult to make work on launch doubles online? And the statement : "we are hoping to offer more options in the future" to me smells like scum, i am afraid they will end up saying ''We are sorry to say but some technical difficulties did now allow us to implement doubles in online mode '' or something like that , so for me its a red flag/alert and not buy until doubles online will be actually added in any future update in game..

It just came to my mind, that if I play this on PS5 I gotta have a PSPlus sub and I dont plan to pay extra to use the internet I already pay for. So Steam with controller it is.
