No, this is not true. A French YouTuber asked the devs at the Paris event and they confirmed we’ll be getting the next gen version.

I believe this game will be playable in low end pc due to lower graphics. But gameplay and player movement is top notch.

I just upgraded my Pc (Ryzen 7600 , rx 6800 , 32gb ram , ssd m.2 ) so no anxiety about it here..But guys tennis games were always been very light, no big worlds like open world, not even many players in big stadiums on like football or basketball games , the graphics them selves look mediocre for 2024 standards so i think system requirements should be low..

I think they made the graphics in such a way that more PCs can play the game. Meaning more can buy the game. Its a starting point since they left the scene 13 years ago. I dont think the graphics are mediocre. Yes its seems not in 2024 standard, but not bad either and well modelled. I think the only problem for me are the faces of the characters. They must be very close to their couterparts. Maybe in the next version 2k26 when they have enough funds from players who will buy the game, they will upgrade graphics to 2026 standard already. For me, I will buy the game to make them continue with the TS developent, and for my enjoyment too :)

It's strange, though, that at just over a month before the release, system requirements still haven't been released

Also because many people would like to know whether it's the case to make upgrades to play it and organize accordingly

that is french video, not all can understand it. Can you confirm that on PC is last gen..?? Any link?
And something else..As 2k has confirmed that there is cross play multiplayer between old/next gen and PC means that the structure/mechanisms of the game are same for all plaftorms so probaly only the quality of graphics differs, its not same case as nba 2k old and next gen which there are fundamental differences in structure and mechanisms of the game , even the park mode is in different setting/world , so cross play between next gen consoles and PC is pratically impossible.. I dont think this will be TP2k25 case, this probably means that the minimum req. on pc will low enough with the display quality to be close to old gen consoles (PS4-XBOX1) and on recommended/max req. will be similar to current gen (PS5-XBOXSXS)..

I think the recommended configuration will be something like this:
- i5 8xxx
- 8 GB ram
- GTX 1660 (I doubt there's RT and DLSS compatibility, if so maybe an RTX 2060)

this remains a personal opinion based on everything that's been said, nothing more, nothing less.

I have an rx580, ryzen 5 2600 and 16 gb ram ddr4, i hope that's enough xd
