why 2k25 not 2k24?

Probably due to the eventual release date. If its later in the year, all games change to the following year in their game name.

They just only announced that they are making the game so it might not come out for a while. The 2024 Tennis season is already underway with the Australian Open completed now. The game might not release until after the US Open in the Fall, so it will be made with the 2025 season in mind.

My guess is that it's set to be at least semi-annual like their PGA Tour games (Top Spin 2-4 were 2006, 2008 and 2011), so they're following the trend of the other 2K games for marketing purposes.

My question is to ask whether we have been spelling it incorrectly since the second game. Was there ever space between the words? Looking at the covers now, I'm wondering if 2K removed it when they got the game.
