Because they know how low of a Playerbase this game has so the new matchmaking system is a bandaid to that. Of course the fact that new players get frustrated after getting paired against one of the highest ranked players in the game and getting stomped is irrelevant to the devs.

They got rid of it because it prevented matches from EVER happening. If 6 people show up to a tournament they can't afford to place people against other people based on their skill level in previous tournaments. Likewise here when 6 people total are playing the game you suffer because the devs can't afford to run anything well.

This game is dead in the water. The only people who play it is the people who made it their "special interest". Tried to have fun with my friend and got paired with the same sweaty no lifes with better cards for 4 matches. It's dead, they should move onto the next project.

They should make a system based on your K/D Ratio and pair you from that.

a funny thing happened recently when I was playing with my firend and we got paired up with two players with the lowest ranks...and they still somehow demolished us XDD

They replaced the skill based matchmaking system with a ranked system that just tells you how good the person ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on you is.

Honestly, there should be something that tries to even the teams out, so it's less one-sided. Like if there's 2 higher ranked, and 2 (or 4 for 3 vs 3) lower ranked, it'd put one higher ranked on each team. Wouldn't be perfect, as there's always the chance of uneven numbers of whatever ranks. But it'd be better than 2 rank 0 vs 2 high ranks.
