Basic Packs vs Gold Packs

In game, the only difference (besides the price) appears to be that the gold pack guarantees at least one rare card. However, on the wiki it mentions that "higher quality booster packs have an increased chance of rewarding you with higher rarity cards". Is this true? It's not mentioned anywhere in game.

Its not mentioned but definitely true, you have id say a 20% chance of getting an epic or legendary per gold pack. Idk about silver but much much lower than that, likewise gold packs usually have at least 2 rares. But sometimes you can still get only commons with one rare, hence the "guaranteed rare" only

From what I've witnessed it's true. I regularly get gold packs that have 3-4 rare cards, sometimes even multiple epics. I rarely get more than one rare card if even a single rare from common packs.
