Yep, mostly why I avoid multiplayer games, EU region has hackers across many games. Especially games that go for free in the Epic Store.

How exactly *does* one determine is someone is using cheats? Ignoring the fact that a lot of the cheats mentioned can be done by skill alone (Such as making predictions of the enemies location, it's not hard if you know what you're doing), and that not many cheats have even been mentioned, I have yet to find someone I could without a doubt say was a hacker

I played enough games in my life to know when something is really off, my skills are mediocre at best but I can still tell a cheater apart from a skilled player.

There is no combo that can do that. Only possible insta kill would be an accurate shot with a Laika/Albatross after having your brain exposed. I got one such lucky shot in on Rooftop while being invisible.

Health Down + Poison can significantly reduce your health but not kill you without contact with the opponent.

idk mate 13 hours in I haven't faced a single hacker with the exception of one weirdly accurate Newton who would hit me through smoke

I get one-shotted with a starting weapon at the very beginning of the matches all the time. Tell me that I suck, have a skill issue. But there's no way in the world that other players could be that skilled.

It was fun first few days, but now it's basically unplayable. Done with this game

Are you playing on the EU region too? I'd suggest trying one of the US regions instead of giving up on the game, as it appears the US regions just aren't experiencing these issues

I'm in Belgium. As I said I don't 100 Know it's cheats but what I encountered is being shot when the opponent is not even visible to me, this happens very often. I think there is also some aimbotting going around.

I think the majority of people that are posting about these kid of things need to get a more full and complete understanding for the game to be honest, the majority of people posting have under 20 hours, don't understand that there are cards that are borderline esp do to dmg ticking, god mode cards in the form of heartless, on top of easily sound whorable. Add on top of that the bhopping with bad connection (and add to that moose for even more insane movement) there is just so much room for a skill difference rather than cheaters. Unless you are crouch walking everywhere and they somehow find you without bhopping around the map for 10+ seconds then I would agree on the sus but otherwise we shouldn't immediately jump to thinking of someone cheating. When I first started playing and didn't understand the game fully i sussed out way too many people but now that I understand the game better I can see the skill issue or card pack difference as bad as that is (going against a player with lvl 60+ while being under level 20.)
