Counter-play to katana?
I haven't fought against it in 1vs1 but in 2vs2 it feels like you're fighting a raid boss that will rush you down and kill you in 3 hits and it's impossible to out dps. So it's like, what to do? :lunar2019piginablanket:

what i found works is using bombs when they are at far/medium range, and just either land sticky or shoot the bombs in the air/on the ground. bear trap also works. self explosion is also a counter if you were going to lose anyways... might as well get a win for that extra exp. although try not to activate it cuz theres a bug with it rn

I've noticed that with self destruct unfortunately even if someone else kills you there is still a chance for the explosion to be displaced, usually above or slightly behind where you died. Hopefully this'll eventually be looked into and sorted out though, there's been way too many times I've run straight up to the enemy and when they killed me the explosion triggered way too far away from where they killed me :/

I didn't know you could break the katana, that makes a lot of sense, I imagine the brasshopper would be a good cheap counter to it then. Thanks for the replies!
