Not going to lie, kind of disappointed with how the gore system works in this game. Just a little bit of neon pink blood and some bone showing. I don't expect happy tree friends levels of gore but it feels as if it is trying to be "safe edgy". and before you scream at me, no, I don't watch happy tree friends

I mean... it's kinda meant to be "safe edgy". It's a light hearted, highly stylized cartoon art style. Maybe a little bit of blood dripping would be nice or them falling apart if they're killed by an explosion for example would be cool. But if they kept the current system as is then I'd be fine with it.

I know you said you don't expect happy tree friends gore, but I don't think the two are an apt comparison. Happy Tree Friends is a show about shock value. I'd honestly would say it's sort of gore-porn, like SAW but a cartoon if that makes sense. That'd be completely out of place in this game, even if you brought it up as an example of "I'm not expecting this but"

I guess that was a bad example using tree friends. I should have used the example of TF2, cartoonish gore of things being blown up, maybe gibs showing up briefly and special animations based on a kill like a head shot or set on fire.
