Trainz Railroad Simulator 2022

Incompatibile Spline SP5 Update
Yeah. You messed up with placing track objects. When I try to place an track object it shows a message „Incompatibile Spline”. You have to repair it because it destroys whole Surveyor...

Same issue...
GRE 2057 Jan 17 @ 3:45pm
mine works no issues here!

Yeah they completely broke this. Unable to place trackside objects on track, when it was working fine last time I played maybe a week or two ago.

What the hell did they do? And I'm not getting Trainz Plus to fix it if that's it.
(oh no, have they been working with the Railroads Online crowd?)

Same issue...idem
There is a way to correct. Just go to the forum and read about it. All of us experienced the issue, but we have solved it.

I'm getting a message like this for, like, EVERY track asset in my database: <kuid2:430547:101717:1> : TrainzAssetAccessorCached::OpenAssetFileForReading> missing file: config.chump

It took a long time for my routes page to load, and everything's pre-caching again, but I can stick objects onto track again... I did follow JCitron's post. I'll check again later to be sure it holds up, don't know if I just got lucky...

Continuation: Just took another peek, and now the main menu world's tracks are just white lines, like a placeholder for the actual tracks. And as far as I can see, all AJS Invisible Stations are broken, probably something to do with the ♥♥♥♥ up in Content Manager or whatever it is that made tracks... not be tracks? They're showing up as a wireframe hitbox instead of the actual object.

N3V better not expect us to be the ones repairing this crap. I just want to work on my routes. I'm out...

Try this from the Auran forums by JCitron if you have not already.
https://forums.auran.com/threads/a-fix-for-track-not-acting-like-track-until-n3v-fixes-the-bug.179977/

I did this next step after I tried the remedy above as still had the same spline error message.
In Content Manager, select the tracks in your route > right click, then select 'revert to original', then submit.
'Hopefully' now trackmarks, direction arrows, etc will be able to be popped down.

I would also recommend doing a Database repair afterwards.

Edit. I also should have said the 'revert to original' then submit worked for myself.

Oh that is a real shame :(
It definitely is a finicky bug when different solutions helps some and not others. Can only hope when the patch comes out that it will fix everyone's installs without anymore issues.
The Link with the instructions once followed worked an absolute treat first time and i know have no more issues, perfect and back to Surveyor
