If you have no deleted the session, that's a bonus. View Sessions for your route and choose edit session on the recent session you have saved. Now, you will need to merge the session layer to the route layer re-save your route as a New Route + Session. This option only works if you have not deleted the session
Things related to DLS are current (some are not but there isn't as easy way to replace old with new without remnants left behind, and trying to find them is even worse because the DLS is poorly designed). Anything outdated or obsolete should be purged from the DLS to prevent breaking the latest versions, or just archive the older items for those on T:ANE, or older versions outside of the DLS/ Content Manager).
Yeah I regret not buying Run8 or Railroader instead of wasting money on Trainz 22 PE. I bought it because I wanted to build my routes (which is the Sim City guy in me), not play an arcade (TSW is an arcade), and just have fun.
No game is perfect, but customers that pay for things expect updates across all products that are in rotation.
843 hours was a good run for me, and probably beats out any game I have dedicated time to as a kid and young adult in the 80s and 90s. I know the fan boys and girls of Trainz will defend against my complaints, but N3V won't get money from me again or recommendations. I guess losing one customer and reputation matters not to them.
