If you have NVIDIA graphics

1) Launch NVIDIA GeForce Experience
If you do not have NVIDIA GeForce Experience installed, I suggest that you download the software and create a free account

2) In NVIDIA GeForce Experience, click on Drivers
3) Click Install, you must choose 'Custom Install' and make sure that you perform a clean installation

Note: If it's your first time to use NVIDIA GeForce Experience, make sure that you allow it through your firewall on both 'Private and Public' networks. Also make sure that you allow NVIDIA GeForce Experience it's permissions required to automatically scan your computer allowing the software to provide you with the latest updates for your NVIDIA graphics driver and software

I contacted support about this. They said:

I installed the library this morning and can confirm that my game now launches normally as expected.
