Water Glitch
So I can delete water I place, but there is water at just below the surface that I cant delete and it's a pain because my freight line has to go under the T7 and the tracks are going under water that I can delete.

not a good idea to put your email out there unless you have really good protection on your computer from all the spammers and hackers

You may be seeing a totally different water layer... when you lower the ground in an area, there's already water there just below the default ground height. This water can't be deleted with the water delete tool... but, if you go to the advanced section of the topology menu, you can select to modify the water effects. Now you can use the raise, lower, or set height tools to modify the water you're not able to delete, and effectively hide it out of the way. (I don't think the water layer can be deleted at least, been a little while since I've worked in Surveyor)

Hi All
It is, with the 5m and 10m terrains, possible to have two separate water types on a route at the current time.

There is the 'legacy' water, which is placed using the water tools in the Topology tab in Surveyor Classic. This is the one that you can add/delete per grid square.

There is also a new 'water effect layer' system, which provides a much more flexible water system, however by default this is placed a small distance under the ground. You can change the default height using the effect layer settings, or otherwise you can manually lower it as needed.

You can find more information on this at the following links: https://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php/Water_Effect_Layer

https://docs.trainzsimulator.com/effect-layer-tools

Otherwise if you don't need the water effect layer, then you can simply delete this effect layer using the effect layer tools.
