All I can say is that as you play on more and more detailed routes, TRS2022 will probably humble even the beefiest computers... the more powerful you can afford to build all around, the better. There may come a point where the problem is in the software/engine, too...

That memory is nuts though, if that is the amount of RAM you're thinking of using. It seems to be you can get away with 16gb ram and be covered for just about anything, unless I'm mistaken. If you're going for anything above, it starts to only be useful for server hosting (or in my experience doing modded minecraft stuff)...

The more the merrier is how I look at it. Besides, there's no such thing as too much memory when it comes to Trainz.

Would it work with and i7?

I'm running it on an i7 in a Dell gaming laptop with a 3050 Ti and 32Gb and it runs okay. I've got the graphics set pretty low at present, but that doesn't bother me.... I just like the gameplay.

4070 series GPU's REQUIRE 1,000 Watt Power Supplies as they eat up over 400 Watts of power.. other than the PSU being lower than it should i would suggest upgrading to a 1k watt psu instead of the 850 watt
