i want to love this game however its the same game.. how do i play multiplayer. thats all we want. its all we have ever wanted. yes we paid the 70$ entry fee, yes we paid the 10$ monthly. i dont see a way to use 2.0 and just like before every map is broken except for kick starter county. please someone explain to me how this is worth 15$ let alone 80$. also i have to let the game run so i can download my DLC. guess a refund is out of the question. my disappointment endless. TS22 is a SCAM change my mind.

To use multiplayer driver, you will need to choose a suitable multiplayer session for the desired route. Each of the included routes in TRS22 will include a pre-made multiplayer session, however we cannot guarantee that other DLC packs will include multiplayer sessions as this will be up to the creator of the DLC pack.

For multiplayer surveyor, the routes can be found by opening the 'Driver/Surveyor' menu within Trainz, then click on the 'type' menu at the top and click on 'multiplayer'. The available multiplayer routes/sessions that are currently active will then be shown.

In regards to Surveyor 2.0, this is only available for TrainzPlus or Gold membership subscribers, and is not included with TRS22, nor do we advertise it as such.

For the maps that you are seeing as broken, could you please tell me what issues you are seeing with them? Do you see any errors or messages, or are you seeing some other issue with them?

-there is no information on how to use most of your game, what is out there is years out of date.

so i take your basic kickstarter country 22 multiplayer map and i click edit. there is no option to switch out of classic surveyor. do we still have to upload everything to your website?? that would make no sense if we can live edit a map. my small group and i are trying to add a couple trains to a map then play it together. we have made many many attempts at this in trainz 19. we have done hours of research.

now we buy the new game for 80$ when its all said and done, the new one is more multiplayer focused is what we read. well here i am looking at the exact same game. this is literately trainz 19 and i just re-bought it. im a little frustrated =/

so now lets say i just added a train and saved on your KSC 22 map. it makes me save a new session and now when i try to use that save i get a text box.

you over complicate this whole process by making use use your servers. why would you do that? it wouldn't be to justify your monthly subscriptions im sure.
despite all this i really do think the core of your game is good.

If you have a TrainzPlus membership, then please ensure that you have installed the TrainzPlus version of Trainz to be able to access Surveyor 2.0; the TRS22 edition does not include Surveyor 2.0, and as such this option would not appear in TRS22.

In regards to multiplayer, so as to ensure that all players are seeing the same content, we do require that multiplayer sessions and all of their dependencies be placed onto the Download Station. Otherwise there is no way for us to guarantee that all players see the same thing, as we cannot legally send the content between players installations.

The Multiplayer Surveyor system is a new separate system which uses a different method to handle multiplayer, and as such uses different rules and methods to handle this. where on earth or how do i get it? i see all kinds of ways to give you guys money and sign up but now how to actually get surveyor 2.0
there is no beta in steam for me to switch to. i see no download on your website. its crazy how hard it is to use your products =(

How do I access MPS Early Access?

Currently you need to update from a Trainz Plus build using “Trainz Plus Beta” patch stream to the latest beta version. Once we’ve ensured everything is working as expected with larger numbers of users, (soon), members will be able to update using the “Trainz Plus” stream.

Thanks for answering my question in the other thread okiedokie. And you're correct, I shouldn't judge something before I played it, so I apologize. Just coming from DCS and hearing the constant complaints gets grating over there. This is not the same game as that, and the DLC is not the same fidelity as DCS, so I shouldn't have thought of them as the same. I did buy this now though, so guess I'll be able to judge for myself. $85 in the first month is a steep asking price so I do expect a decent product.

If you are using the TRS22 version of Trainz, then you will currently only have access to a predetermined set of routes in Multiplayer Surveyor. As we gauge the bandwidth usage of Multiplayer Surveyor we plan to add further routes for this.

These can be found by opening the Driver/Surveyor menu within Trainz, then either scroll to the right hand end of the Routes list, or click on the 'Type' menu at the top of the screen and click on 'Multiplayer'. This will then show all active multiplayer games (both Multiplayer Driver, and Multiplayer Surveyor); to load a route select a route in the list and click on 'Edit Route' at the bottom right of the screen.

If you wish to be able to create your own Multiplayer Surveyor route, then you will currently need to use the TrainzPlus version of Trainz.

To use the TrainzPlus version of Trainz (which is the version that includes Surveyor 2.0), you will need to subscribe to either a TrainzPlus or Gold membership subscription, and then install the TrainzPlus version of Trainz. This version will install separately to TRS22. The Surveyor 2.0 tools can then be accessed in the TrainzPlus version by loading a route into Surveyor, then click on the 'Tools' menu at the top of the screen and click on 'Edit in Surveyor 2.0'.

If you have a TrainzPlus or Gold subscription through the MyTrainz website, then you would need to install the TrainzPlus version from the 'Download TrainzPlus' page of your MyTrainz account. Otherwise if you have a TrainzPlus or Gold subscription through Steam, then this will need to be installed through Steam.
