What exactly did you do minutes before noticing the missing key?
> We'd started to unlock the doors and we walked down the stairs and saw a cutscene in the crew quarters area. We noticed that there was still something to find in the mailroom so we went there and triggered a mystery so we solved it and watched a reenactment. After that, we went back to the door that we'd opened and it was locked. We noticed when we looked at the map that the master keys were missing. We even tried going back to the room where we got them and they were floating in the air but we couldn't retrieve them again.
Was the key also missing from the Map UI?
Yes
Did you complete all mysteries before reaching the boiler room door?
Yes
Did you collect most clues and no mystery conclusion?
We collected all available clues and solved most if not all mysteries
What was the sequence where the doors were opened?
We opened the door in the main hall area first then went upstairs and opened the one in the upper hall, then went to the one downstairs.
Did you play the game for a few hours before encountering the issue? Yes, we'd played for a few hours before that happened
Did you encounter any performance/FPS issues before the master key issue?
Not that we recall
Thanks for following up! We were able to complete it without any additional issues after reloading an earlier save.
