Physics, no, we haven’t heard
Another review from the demo.
There is no feeling that you are walking underwater on a sunken ship. Because the ship was perfectly preserved. The paintings are in excellent condition, have not deteriorated and hang exactly on the walls. The paper is in excellent condition. Things, as a rule, lie neatly in their places, vases are on the bedside tables. This is absurd. Try dipping a pack of paper in water for at least half an hour. It kills the atmosphere.
Very slow, but understandable. Something needs to be done about this. Walking at this speed is normal, but there are too many slow actions in the gameplay: open the door, take a piece of paper, touch something.
The game takes place in 1905, but the characters look like modern cartoons ala Fortnite and the like. Which also kills the gloomy atmosphere.

I loved the atmosphere and did not care if the stuff was not aged realistically enough. Perhaps there is a reason for it? In the end it is a fictional mystery-game.

I also felt very much being under water. The slowness, the sounds, the little details like bubbles and stuff or moving things around in a slow manner, etc.

Also the cartoonish style of the characters made them easy recognizable and did not break atmosphere or immersion for me.

Yes the walking at this spieed is normal, but the actions should be faster? Even when carrying out the actions, we are still under water! Where is your logic?

Playing, for example, Farcry 3 and collecting grass or skinning an animal, you will also ask yourself this question? Why are there no full animations of these processes, which in reality take hours? We are talking about the gameplay, and not about your broken logic.

What a stupid comparison. This isn't a Farcry shooter, it's a largely realistic game that tries as best as possible to maintain the impression of being underwater. This also means that walking AND ACTIONS are SLOWER than normal. I think it's not me who can't think logically here. Of course, you could do without all of these realistically paced actions, but why should the developers do that? And I find it much more atmospheric that way. But if you're in a hurry to play, you shouldn't play this game either.

I can decide whether to play or not without your help. Continue to stick to your opinion. At the same time, look at what underwater footage of sunken ships looks like in reality (about the same documentary Titanic or the films of Jacques-Yves-Cousteau). The game is as far from reality as possible. If the game reflects reality, you will not do even 5% of what the authors offer in terms of gameplay. Perhaps you are a slowpoke. Goodbye.

Come on boy, You're here complaining about how unrealistic everything is in this game and you think games like Farcry are great....seriously? You're right, there's no point in discussing it with an action hero like you. Goodbye :-)
