Hull Stablizer - how to use?
I see the latest update allows you to build hull stabilizers. Asides from connecting it to power, theres no instructions on how to use. Do you place it anywhere? Place it on the side of the ship? How many do you need?

Build it somewhere on your boat and connect it to a power outlet.
I've built one in the recycler room port under the ceiling and one starboard under the ceiling.
But one of them seems to be enough.
Just build one in the middle under the ceiling and power it...that should do the trick.
One thing that I've found works really well, if you want to make sure it never drains your battery to danger levels, is plug them directly into the 2nd port on a Typhoon wind turbine. Both ports output separately and will not share a power grid. If there's no wind to power the stabilizer you're probably in an enclosed area where you won't need it to function.
I think you have to have 6 of them on deck best.

I have 4 in the front, 2 in the back. It does not matter how you install them as long they have power.
You absolutely do not need any more than two. Lots of us experimented when it first came in (I think in Release 3?) and for me a single one does the job really well. I added a second and it made so little difference I dismantled it.

I only have 2 on the back of mine, and it works just fine.
I put 2 on the roof at 90 degree of each other connected to a switch in the cabin on the ceiling.
