NOTE: This configuration does not change the game details, it actually improves them slightly and optimizes the performance to get a little more fps with NICE GRAPHICS!

Just download both files, paste them to the location I provided, and run the game, and that's it! Don't worry, the game will show 30-40 fps, but in reality, you'll get around 80 or more at idle. The game's fps counter simply doesn't work properly like many other things in this game.

Game doesn't start with those
Thank you so much, I found your comment yesterday and decided to give it a shot. Worked wonders, previously I couldn't even play the game, after using this ini I played for 8 hours straight and it was almost a smooth experience.
I created my own Engine.ini file in the directory specified and pasted the OP's settings. The main game executable loaded fine. The save file, however, took an exceptionally long time to load the first time afterwards, but it eventually did and had a lot of pop in for the game assets. Saved again, did the benchmark (55 fps average, 5% low of 34, much better than the 36 / 5% of 18 originally), and the save file loaded quickly. Game is stable now and went from an average of 22 fps on Epic settings with DLSS set to DLAA without AI Frame generation to about 50 on average. Much obliged.

Ok, I just did this too and the game loaded the same as usual and I would say I had a bump in FPS of about 15%.

Hey, dear Polish person, I suggest you simply buy a new graphics card and not try to run the game on a 1080p graphics card that doesn't support Lumen RTX and PathRaicing. Your card simply won't physically handle it, and these configs are written for at least an RTX 2070+. Wake up! It's 2025, you're 5th generation back. Games on Unreal Engine 5 simply won't physically run on your computer unless they're completely on minimum settings. Besides, analyzing your reviews, you can probably see for yourself that everything that's already on Unreal Engine 5 is physically incapable of running your computer, and you're only posting negative reviews for these reasons, which is just spam.

If you want smooth gameplay, you need to write your own config that will disable Lumen, RTX Path Tracing, Niagara System, Nanite System, then you will be able to play at a good frame rate on your super GTX 1080 graphics card.

Hey, dear Polish person, I suggest you simply buy a new graphics card and not try to run the game on a 1080p graphics card that doesn't support Lumen RTX and PathRaicing. Your card simply won't physically handle it, and these configs are written for at least an RTX 2070+. Wake up! It's 2025, you're 5th generation back. Games on Unreal Engine 5 simply won't physically run on your computer unless they're completely on minimum settings. Besides, analyzing your reviews, you can probably see for yourself that everything that's already on Unreal Engine 5 is physically incapable of running your computer, and you're only posting negative reviews for these reasons, which is just spam.

Errr im not Polish so i dunno where ya got that from lol and 2nd i dunno why you are speculating im running on 1080p and if i need to buy a new GPU lol as i think a 4080 is powerful enough to run games at 1440p. Your settings didnt work its simple and you dont even own the game lol so how do u know there work. Cos they dont haha. ♥♥♥♥♥

That's nonsense! I haven't disabled any of that with my 1080 Ti and I'm playing on "high" settings with an average of over 50 FPS! Which is perfectly adequate for me in the current state of the game!

After reading your posts about all the games you've commented on, it's clear and logical that you don't have a card as big as a 4080. Half a year ago, in a post under "Games," you clearly wrote that your 1080 graphics card has trouble running the game, the same goes for the game "Enshrundet," which runs even on a 2060 graphics card at a decent 60fps. You clearly stated your opinion that the game simply stutters and you're at 20fps. Before you write such nonsense again, analyze all your posts because you're not anonymous, and from these results, it's clear that all games on Unreal Engine 5 simply run at 20fps. xD

Apparently, the guy above who says he's played all the games that run on Unreal Engine 5 and run on his RTX 4080 at 20 fps is exaggerating a lot and is just a spammer. I've gone through his posts, literally all the games he hates on and says they barely run or crash on his 4080, even though he actually has a 1080 graphics card. I took this information from his post that he has a GTX 1080. The post was written by him six months ago. I see that this kind of spam and the user himself should simply be reported and they should give him a permanent block from commenting on games and discussions. The fewer trolls, the better. By the way, thank you for testing the configs in the discussions for this game. There are also other configs of mine for a low-end PC, such as an AMS 1060 card, so with my config, comfortable gaming will be possible. look in the posts on Steam for the game :), and this config that is here was designed to optimize the FPS increase without reducing the graphics costs but still have high, nice details and reflections, etc. :) The previous configs were downloaded in the amount of 600+, that's how many people downloaded the config that I wrote much earlier, in fact for the game's premiere, and most of the recipients were really satisfied ;)

The game is heavily bottlenecked by the CPU. If he has a weak CPU, it doesn't matter what his GPU is, he'll have low framerates, especially near the Lazarus complex. I get 40fps there on my 4090.
