yea because im someone who enjoy's vr, have been since its come out. not my fault companies are lazy and can't make the most BASIC controls LMAO.
The only thing that annoys me is thier lack of communication, they promised us that they be working on co-op and fixing the bugs the game has. But once they saw that the game stopped making purchases they deleted everything that gave a hint that they were working on co-op, made a trailer for the other platforms and put the steam version on sale hoping to get thier last bit of money before probably abandoning the quest and psvr too and repeating it again with another game.
What your saying is absolutly true. Pcvr is not just for racing and flight sims.
Most of the games arent realy "Vr", they just put our heads in the position where the flatscreen camera would be and give us the freedom to look around, nothing more.
Nobody buys himself a Vavle Index to drive a car with keyboard and mouse just to let his 300~$ controllers rot in the corner.
so that's basically a huge ♥♥♥♥ YOU to us who hoped for PCVR co-op... their reasoning "not enough active players".
so i guess this is another dev that joins others on my Blacklist of devs to avoid and not support.
first those who supported the non-VR game basically didn't get anything for it. then they said both games will basically become the same including co-op. well, thanks for saving me the money now completely. not enough active players? well, i doubt it will become more.
TLDR
stop waiting for co-op, it was definitely canceled for good now.
I can't speak for the PSVR2 version as I've never played it. However, I can tell you that the PCVR version is miles better than the Quest version.
It doesn't matter that the Quest version is getting updates because it's a gimped version. It lacks the depth of this PCVR version, which is like the non-VR version before the Spirit of Amazonia DLC update (plus other updates). The Quest version is a much simpler version, it's almost a different game. I don't know, maybe some people really love holding a stick next to a rock and seeing it magically turn into an axe versus putting them on a crafting table and seeing them magically turn into an axe.
That difference does not make up for all the things the Quest version is missing. All I can say is if you have Quest+, try out Green Hell (Quest) then play Green Hell PCVR and you'll almost immediately see how superior the PCVR version is. It's not even close.
Dude, you only have 11.3 hours played in the game (PCVR).
Nobody who has played both games substantially would think the Quest version is better. Quest is like the kiddie version compared to PCVR. The more you play, the more apparent it becomes. I'm now close to 60 hours on PCVR.
and did you even read the announcement? the PCVR won't be udpated anymore. so no matter if you like it more now, the quest will be continued.
i lost interest completely in it after those news. good i saved my money.
Now i know you're just lying. That's not the only real difference. There's so many differences if you have actually played both of them, that you notice it after just a few hours. The Quest version is like you're playing a dumbed down, stripped down, mobile version. It's nothing like the PC (flat version) or the PCVR version.
