Okay, that doesn't actually answer my question but thanks, I guess.
Now, my next question, is this impact for those who use the standalone Quest 2, and do users using SteamVR, have the same issues?
I just bought the game in steam and will be testing with my Quest 2. I anticipate that its the same as if i played via Index or something, but we will see for sure. At least Steam is usually pretty good about refunds.
I appreciate you trying and I would definitely appreciate any feedback you can offer. Worse case, I have Quest 2 and Cosmos. I have played Arizona Sunshine via Steam VR, only downloading the game to my PC and not my Quest 2,
Anyway, I appreciate any feedback you can provide. Thanks!
Are you using SteamVR or Quest 2 as a standalone?
From what I can tell, the difference between Quest 2 and Steam copies is the crafting table? If I am right, the steam VR copy of the game is the same regardless of the headset you are using. I have the Quest 2 and bought the game on Steam. I run the game using the OpenXR runtime environment (the one that is native to the Quest 2 aka go into your oculus software to set the runtime environment then when pressing play, select the oculus VR option). The crafting table exists for me and the only thing I can see that is missing from crafting so far is the banana leaf bed :P I am only 3 play sessions deep, though.
If you have a PC, consider using the link capability and using the Steam version. Honestly you are not going to get the best stuff directly with a Q2. There are going to be compromises so it can work.
Thank you, this was what I was looking for. I'm good as I use link with SteamVR.
Remember this will always be true of a port to quest game. It can't possibly give you a PC capability.

its just how it is, can't expect everything to be for quest :P it'll leave us PCVR players out lol
