She's a psychopath, 100%. Overlord already has a full yandere (Albedo) and a quazi-yandere (Shalltear) characters. This psychobitch isn't a yandere, unless this game has changed her character to be one.

Sometimes it is interesting to play as the bad guy. And I for one cannot remember the last time I played as a psychopath evil female character. The villain protagonists that come to mind are all guys (Kain from Legacy of Kain series, Postal guy, Crypto from Destroy All Humans or well .... Overlord ... not this one .... the game from 2007. See? No female villains. Plus it might be an interesting story setting considering she is in Nazarick as fans of the manga and anime know right?

i don't hate her. i just don't understand why make her the main character , she had a minor part in season 1 and that was the last we saw of her. Does she do more stuff in the manga or something?

We don't know if she's a yandere as we've never seen her with romantic interest. I do find it likely she'd be one if she did like someone. Unless you all are gonna argue finding love would fix her psychotic ways lol

Because, a game playing as anyone in Nazarick would likely be very easy. The nature of the series, while interesting, doesn't allow for reasonable balancing, you either gimp the NPCs in Nazarick, in some confounded way, or have them rolfstomp everywhere, which can be a fun game if done right.

I do think this is a good set-up, Clementines body is missing IIRC so this game likely won't break any canon.

Because the way she died was iconic, no character in anime has ever been hugged to death b4. She's ♥♥♥♥ in comparison to the adamantite class adventurer, Momon.

She is not strong enough to defeat anyone within Nazarick (correct me if wrong). It will be interesting to see how they try to explain her combat strength.

You don't actually know that, maybe she has someone who she likes, we only saw her from the perspective of her enemy and nothing else. She definitely is Yan, but the -dere is always out there.

Plus yandere is a psychotic, they just found for herself the one they want to have for themselves, otherwise you only have a closet yandere, loved one brings out the dere, jealousy brings out the yan.

Not sure how much of sense this will make but the way I see it is Overlord's cast of main characters is super cool with most being subordinates, followers, etc of Ainz. If you played as anyone from Nazarick, then like 80% of the show's cast are allies with no actual reason to fight them, unless the story is a generic brainwashing plot which is common and cliched. There are obviously other ways the game could have let us play as all the cool characters from Nazarick, but the way it's currently done with Clementine is pretty interesting and let's us individually face off against each of the Nazarick characters we love at their max, unbridled awesomeness. Can't wait to be lightning struck by Narberal!!

Playing as an Antagonist, devs have a justification to have no happy ending in the game.
