not that i care, playing with keyboard mouse, but doesnt seem like you guys even know what you are doing.
and no idea what now will happen until release. no content for years.
The option does NOT remove it. All it does is lower weapon range min/max by like 40% or something. So if you want it gone you'd pretty much need to do that and get the skill to play the game as it was like back in the day
The skills sound cool, but perhaps will need a few iterations of balancing.
And for Steam Deck, until you are 101% sure that everything works, I'd add a 0.50.3 beta channel.
What evidence do you have that it won't? Have the Devs stated that it won't? Do the Devs have a history of abandoning projects?
Please post your references.
1) > Have the Devs stated that it won't?
Even if they did, which they didnt (no roadmap past 1.0, no new feature plans or otherwise compelling evidence exists), I probably wouldn't trust it, in light of how little is the amount of code work for past 2 years. It also doesnt help that they dont address 'cut and run' allegations in steam discussions (even though dev answered in the same thread)
2) > Do the Devs have a history of abandoning projects?
They have no other projects. But they also didnt add much to the game in last 2 years. It looks like typical behaviour for 'cut and run'. If you see a crazy methhead with a knife approaching you, would you not be cautios, even if you have no evidence of this particular methhead being violent?
More concerning is how valiantly you defend devs when presented with same evidence. Wishful thinking wont get you far in life, kid. There are a lot of other great games in EA that aren't abandonware. Take a look at Soulash 2, developer works alone, dishes out new updates with content and mechanics every week, has a full roadmap till the end of 2024 (when he plans to release the game to 1.0) and for last 8 month he sticked by it. Now look at what Zero Sievert TEAM did in last 8 month - stupid weapon rebalance and some localizations,0 NEW CONTENT ADDED. See the difference?
