Room Module Missing

I had finally collected enough materials to create a room module. I place my Scavenger L1 Room Module. I didn't like it's placement in the space but I couldn't place a new one, so I uninstalled it, to reinstall in a new location, and the L1 Module is gone, and I no longer have access to that room space.

What did I do wrong?

as i suspected, the material for crafting the module won't be given back after you install it and un-install the room.

The module is not back after uninstall, so make sure you place in you want or have a backup
