Steam cloud sync does not work?
Hello, I'm having problem with cloud sync. Both are PCs with W11. The cloud sync does says 'updated' but I cannot see my save from other PC. Is there any way to retry? Or is this a known bug?

same problem here, but on a bazzite PC and steam deck. It says, it uploads to cloud and the cloud is up to date, but the saves don't actually transfer
i also tried playing on steam deck with different proton versions, as that has fixed this kind of problem for me in the past, but no luck here
I have the same issue, maybe it's a WIP for the devs? Kind of bummed out as I saw the cloud save thing and thought it would be safe to do a system wipe, but that was a bad idea lol and lost the save... Hopefully they implement it fully in the future as cloud saves are epic, even more so when I use multiple PC's and wipe them very often.

This has been an ongoing issue for over a year and a half. It's disappointing the dev falsely advertises the game on steam as having cloud saves and refuses to fix it.

Oh crap. That sucks :(
I never use steam cloud, got it disable. Its unreliable and one crash can ruin your entire save files. I use manual save, a lot more reliable and safe.
Go post on their discord and harass them there.
The TLDR is that they think cloud save is working but on steam deck it is not because its pointing to a directory that doesn't exist.

They need to fix this and the more people that tell them its not working properly on deck the more likely they are to finally sort it out.

Very frustrating.

I have had issues with this in both Windows 10/11 along with Linux using Proton. They do not advertise this in store, there is no highlighted icon for cloud saves. How ever, upon install in the library and inspection there is an icon for cloud saves. I hope it's because it's a WIP :D

It worked for me. I had to go on Steam Deck; disable cloud save, create a new game, exit, enable cloud save, delete local data, and it reverted to the save file I had on my PC.
