Weapon jams
Weapon jams seem to be a little out of controll. Having to unjam a 70-80% weapon every 5 shoots is over the top and not fun.

on top of that, never seen those bandits unjamming their weapons. I mean, they keep em pristine and clean all the time?

Never thought about that until now.

When ever I loot a human npc, their weapons are between 40%-70% and I never saw them having jams...

They really should experience jams, just like we do.

Check your weapons' durability. If it's low it will jam a lot. Keep them near 90-100% and they never jam.

I get that! The point is that a weapon between 70-80% also shouldnt be jamming every 5 seconds! Its annoyinng

The jamming is indeed excessive.

There is a perk that prevents jamming for 5 seconds after a jam. It also reduces the chance of jamming.

And if we talk about equalizing the battlefield, they should give the AI improved vision and accuracy.

Funny. I felt like AI accuracy actually needs a nerf instead of a buff tbh.

Its so funny how there is always people that try to defend bad balanced game mechanics and want the game to be harder. Way to kill your game! Enjoy

Please don't straw-man. I wasn't defending; I was stating facts based on my game-play.

When I first started playing the game, I died because of jamming too. I grabbed that perk and haven't had issues with jamming, so I'm telling you to pick it up so you will stop having issues.

I almost always see the AI first and pick them off before they react. And even if they do respond, I can often just run away. Embarrassingly, I die to animals and mutants far more than humans.

Imagine adding a jamming mechanic in the game, but it only effect the players.
That's like adding stunlocking in the game, but enemies are immune to stunlock.

Are the enemies also immune to bleed effect? I don't remember....

They do, but it's inconsistent. I've had more than my fair share of Hunters see me from outside of my FOV and unload on me.
My sniper rifle jammed at 96%, and my sniper skill is max too.

Exactly, a 50% or lower weapon i can understand having feeding/extraction problems but 70%+? It should not be jamming THAT much.
Edit: i forgot there was a perk that halves durability loss but not even that lowers the jam rate, i just did a super quick test while typing the original lot to your quoted post, still does nothing to lower jam chances...
