I understand limiting FOV for gameplay reasons in a multiplayer competitive game, but not a singleplayer one. Even making it so that enemies or anomalies don't render further than 16:9 would be fine. But just trying to play the game not stretched and not in a small window is seemingly impossible. I've tried a bunch of different fixes and nothing works. Even setting my windows resolution to a 16:9 one doesn't work, the game forces itself back to 21:9.
I'm very tempted to refund because of this. Sorry I'm not offering advise or helping, I just wanted to jump on this too.
That's great to hear! I unfortunately had to refund the game because of this, even though I was enjoying the gameplay. But if this issue is resolved I would be more than happy to buy it again.
I would love to see a better implementation of ultrawide in the game. I understand there being limitations for gameplay purposes, however I think limiting the fov of things like enemies and anomalies while allowing the environment to be in view would be a great compromise.
I still can't seem to get the cursor to lock to the window on a dual monitor setup, even trying -nojoy and -nojoypad in launch options does nothing to contain the cursor to the game while its running.
