There is a magic button in steam that allows you to search for games with Multiplayer function BUILT IN. You should try it sometime.
THIS gAME neEDs ZOmbIes In IT
negativ im mainly talking about coop, playing with a friend boosts intrest rates and creator content imma just say it coop doesnt destroy games
(insert clown emoji)
scroll back to June 4th and read the full thing of the dev update. That'll bring you up to date so you know what happened.
Ive been playing this game for.. three years now? long before the EA launch on steam. It was always a single-player game and the coding structure doesn't support multiple ports into a single given map. It launched on steam, as a single-player, and many of us have always liked it that way. The attempt to make the game co-op seems to have wasted a lot of the dev's time in which now we can see some of the result by countless tart-bakers complaining about how the game is coming out of EA with lack of content.
You guys dont really help the game surviving when you dont allow the ability for more people to buy the game in the aspect of playing with their friends, so are you guys actually helping the game or just killing it off?
this has to be the best comment on this thread i have read in days.
this is nailing it
a coop choice is not destroying anything it even supports multiple copies to be bought increasing income and moral to improve the game. its just that, nothing else, nothing less.
this is a great game, enjoying it with my friends will not make it worse.
The thing that triggers most of the people who want it to be kept single-player is that trying to add in coop when the base game didn't support it in the first place cost the dev a lot of time in the attempt.
That time could have been better spent on more content for single-player or bug fixes.
No, Coop dosen't destroy anything.
What it does however is that it diverts attention and resources away from the developer's original intent of their game.
And at current, they're in a bit of a balancing act to get this game into full release, to release their enhanced game mechanics and deal with the player base's demands / misconceptions of the intended product. Without the added burden of configuring, testing, trouble shooting this game as a multiplayer which was never their intent to begin with.
So you're most likely not going to get multiplayer. And that's not the fan boys / girls repeating the party line; that's the current reality of the product the developer is producing.
More than likely, once released in v1.0, we're probably going to hear rumor of a ZS2 in the works with multiplayer support. the VR game "Into the Radius" had the same crowd of folks that wanted multiplayer, and because their original engine didn't support it, they finished up the game and went onto creating "Into the Radius 2".
One thing to note is what should the dev focus on, and with the limited amount of inflow money, what are their goals to prolong development. Im not aware of any "fundraiser" they might be doing to help their development or if they have any, or if they are working on the basis of what the sales they make.
Regardless, i wish that people did not make the excuse of "It breaks immersion" because that in my mind breaks any notion of what matters. Co-op does not replace single player, and their go to game is always fallout 76 which is not even co-op but more of an mmo.
Is there any need for this comment? Isnt this place meant for discussion? talking about it doesnt hurt anyone, besides insulting people IQ.
