This weapon will also come in handy once you reach the other side of the cave, though you’ll need longer bursts there. Pair it with something heavier to destroy infestations, and make sure you have solid radiation protection.
For me, this was the toughest mission... at least for a while. Now I’m up against the "Machinery" quest, and "The Bridge to Zakov" feels like a piece of cake by comparison. Nevertheless, GL & HF!
vector with 50 mag is good or the F90, bigger ammo stacks (200 vs 120) same damage. I went with a t6 armor with 60% melee resist and an anomaly suit (90 anomaly resist) for the part after the tunnels. i brought a rad syringe + food syringe for the anomaly part as well.
i went with smg + pistol (one with 20 dmg will kill each ghoul with one shot) for quick swap (a second smg works as well) in case i run out of ammo in the mag and reloading takes too long. the perk that keeps you from getting slowed from melee attacks seems to help a bit as well
im not even sure where to repair it .
anyway. i use kibble rifle with 90 bullet clip and use the normal ammo. its work better then high pen , cuz they dont have armor.
when im inside the cave i stick to the left and when there is a nest i spray it . the last perk of rifle with bullet pierce is great vs ghouls.
I almost left as well lol.
