Is there any way to turn off the radiation noise that occurs when mousing over menus?

Agreed, it's utterly obnoxious. Didn't it use to be a beep in earlier betas ? Or am I confusing it with GAMMA's PDA ?

Anyways, even the option to silence it would be perfectly fine for me.
