mr Junk empty?

why does Mr junk have no stock when ever I go see him. morning, noon, night? its always empty. is this a bug?

Are you clicking on the Junk tab on the right?

They really should make the front page of shops an All tab, and then let you sort by category if you want.

oh I have. I double checked. From what I can gather. its if you go to him as soon as you start playing the game for the day, he will have nothing. I think you have to wait two in game days, and then he will populate. not entirely sure.

That's possible NGL. when you complete some quest like "new arrivals" for the CC, they don't spawn until next day or 2 day after. happen to me. so I won't be surprised that if you rush for Mr.Junk, it will have nothing to trade for.
Same apply with the Orel boss quest and the green army. if you do the "Clear the way" quest then come back to the bunker. GA will not give you any quest until you skip to the next day. Edit: Neither will the networker will give you quest for GA

My understanding is when you boot up the game, an decide to go to him he will have nothing. since the data is wiped from your previous sessions.

Yeah ive had this issue to. Just got to him last time i played and bought a few things. Then checked what i needed for room mods then went back to buy what i needed and he was selling nothing.

I've never had this happen. He always has stuff when I go to him. I'm going to sign in and go straight to him to see what happens.

EDIT: So, I just went and he had his normal inventory. Make sure you select the 2nd tab down. He only sells random junk and that's the correct tab.

yep I did that. I even posted a SS on steam. it has happened more then once. which is weird. Even leaving the zone and coming back right away. still had nothing. I had to wait a couple in game days and then check. after about two days he has stuff.

Yeah never happen to me too. that's the weird part. I know I had to delete some files to get the 1.0 working (especially for the steam achievements etc...) can't recall what to delete tho.

For OP (or others), Do you still have that problem? if yes, I will try to scavenge this forum for what I had to delete for the 1.0 to work properly.

it only happens when I start the game up and head straight there. its not to much an issue since I can just wait two in game days. If other people are having this issue, I can imagine it sucks since he sells a lot of good stuff for the base.

My guess is that the player isn't "intented" to rush this early to Mr.Junk. don't know why or how, maybe it's a bug ...

Will be testing this on a new game later on. just to be sure it's not a "you problem".

Devs just posted a list of known bugs they've fixed for the next update and are still working on, and your issue's listed in the last section.

Mr Junk sometimes has no items to trade

So they're aware of the issue (and yes, it is a bug), but they haven't nailed it down/fixed it yet.
