Kibba-hunting loadouts?

What do you guys clear the mall with?

What I've been using:
Marauder 700 Modern +60-120 AP ammo (heavy!)
Vrizz sector .45 with a drum +600-700 AP ammo
Heavy Watcher armor (class 6 but not cyclops)
29kg +15ergo backpack
2 soup, 3 coffee, 2 milk, 2 armor repair kits, 2 extra medkits, plus my hotbar meds/grenades


I pack the vector mostly because it's a good bullethose with a short snout- makes it better for tight corners. And 35pen isn't too shabby, especially with its RoF.
Even so, would yall swap it out with, say, an EC308/zzvel?
Do yall bother with silencers, or do you just go loud?

I did the first few of 'Stylish One pt2' with the F90 for the ghouls and hunters and the Skop H with m61. Once I figured out how Kibba worked I switched to the modern Marauder with m61. I always run suppressed and wont upgrade a weapon until I have matching suppressor.

I sneak around the mall looking for cones of light, scope in to check for Kibba, headshot, run around a corner to break line of sight, flank away from that location and wait for Kibba to grenade or sprint to the corner because he will chase you.

Sometimes when I snipe Kibba in the dark he will spin in a circle and spray everywhere, wait for him to reload and I can pop him twice, usually ending the fight.

For additional items, I keep 2-4 of the Green medkits that cure 1 bleed, and 6 of the yellow improvised medkits, After Infirmary 3 upgrade I rarely have to think about radiation.

That's a lot of medkits, do you bring any armor repair or do you use a much lighter/more durable armor?

I run a light loadout, have to stay light to keep the jogger perk active. I was using Class 5 military armor from the Igor target at the time. When I was actively hunting Kibba it was pretty much run straight to the mall, skip everything I could, kill and loot the gunshop while looking for the mall extract key.

Im currently using the Class 6 ??? armor non-cyclops. I use the big boned perk to for extra weight reduction.

The jogger perk is actually why I use that big backpack- pushes the jogger limit all the way up to 24.5kg

hmmm, y'know...I wonder how going max speed would work out. jogger/big hands/marathon runner. Mainhand weapon something universally effective, bonus points for run-and-gunable.

Hey, speaking of keys, where do you find those? I found the key to the mall's turbine room in the Industrial map, and I think the key to Skaruvski's store is also in another map- not sure if it was makeshift camp or around lazar's base in the forest, but I've found two.
Are there any that only spawn in the mall?

Mall extract is a Kibba drop, I've found most of my keys farming the Forest village filing cabinets, hit the 5 houses to the East of Lazar, Found all the Oil plant keycards that way, but they are a 0.5% spawn.

M4a1 with HP rounds or P90 for ♥♥♥♥ like BIG or Infestation or Blinks.
Modern m700 with m61 ammo.
That will do. After all, there are only 2 dangers in Mall - Kibba and BIG.

I run SEVA for rad defence, and lvl 5 armor is enough to hold Kibba 545BT with 40 pen.

Alright, tried this out for about 30 minutes now.
Build: Bite immune, Nudist, Mule, Big Hands, Loot Goblin, Jogger, Night Owl, Field Medic, Marathoner, Adrenaline rush

LOVE the speed- I'm just a hair shy of Blinks, who *slowly* gain on me as I sprint around the mall.
LOVE getting to the mall proper in seconds instead of minutes.
Like how much padding I'm adding to my deaths count lmao gonna nab that achievement afterall!
Kinda sad Kibba doesn't chase as aggressively/reliably as I'd hoped- sometimes he takes his time or gets distracted, and once the mine's placed that's that.

Alright, first kill 45 minutes in, that's probably faster than it'd normally be.
I think next time I get there and he's already perished to something else (has happened 3 times so far) I'll try extracting to find out if that counts towards the quest, or if you have to actually get the kill yourself.

Another 5 mins, another kill, this time with a cheeky mine. This definitely seems like a winning strat.
-e 10 mins for #3. I'd recommend dropping night eye for doe eye and only coming in the day. (helps with actually being able to sell gunroom loot too)

I'm at 10/15 and I stg this man has the WORST habit of getting killed/running into his own grenades.
I'd be pissed if I had spent 20 minutes on a run only to watch him blow himself up, voiding the kill smh

Still using the Vector? have you gotten your hands on the 12.7 rifle yet? 72 pen on the BT ammo, 3-4 shot burst and it's done

Yeah, only ever use the thing to get critters off my tail.
If I use it on Kibba it's because he's bugged out in a grenade-throwing animation (or he flashed himself) and at that point it's just shooting a fish in a barrel.
Hell of a lot cheaper to use .45 than 12.7 for those two things.

Im running Forge 3 and Ammo 4, ammo is free, and forge 3 lets you scrap in raid, so I can farm repair mats if I start to run low.
