Crosshair/Cursor Bug
Posting here, so just got the game this morning. Played a bit with no problems, but with the .4 update dropping. I've begun having a bug at game start, where when I try to aim with the crosshair, it will drift off to the nearest screen edge. I can balance it somewhat, but its like trying to balance a bowling ball on the tip of a needle. Before the crosshair will float off again to a random edge. Menus the cursor works fine, inventory the cursor works fine. Seems to be something to do with the crosshair aiming.

FYI Was able to roll the game back to .3 and everything is working fine. Also running on Linux proton-experimental. For what its worth.

I am having the same issue. Lobby and Inventory no drift but aiming in game is a wreck.

This might explain why I'm having issues with trackpad on steam deck - works great on inventory menus etc but slides all over the place when aiming. Did you work out a solution?

I had a similar issue. My crosshair moved slowly to the top of the screen. The closer i aimed the crosshair to my char the faster it moved up. I played in window mode with my max resolution. Going into fullscreen fixed it and now it works fine.

Having the same issue here, I played yesterday normally and today my crosshair won't leave the edge of my screen. Tried everything: initializing my pc, reinstalling the game, deleting cache, reconnecting my mouse, playing with different resolutions and screen mode. The only thing that solved the issue is going back to .3 , but it's sucks to play in this version.

If anyone knows how to solve this let me know pls.
my cursor just goes exeedingly fast but not in the menu or invin either?!?!
i just got this expensive game i know alot about so zero sievert better patch this up before i get damn MAD

I may have figured out the cause of the problem. This happens when there are several monitors, and the game is not running on the main monitor. There are two solutions, either to change the primacy of the monitors in places, or to move the window to the neighboring Win+ Shift+Arrow

Thank you this fixed the issue! I made my main monitor the highest priority and now it works fine. Thanks.

The 2nd monitor was the same issue for me. Suddenly the game does not like being on a 2nd monitor otherwise the aim drifts, but the menus are unaffected.

Resolved by playing on the main monitor.
I was actually thinking that it was part of the game's difficulty mechanism, because as I play along with it and the stats of the gun's goes up and problem gets a better bit by bit LOL
Now i can play it like a real gun shot game finally lol
thanks for pointing the multi monitors problem, cuz i have 8.
