Problems with quests

Hello,
I have eperienced some problems with some quest dynamics, mostly in the industrial area. the loner quest to recover the geiger counter from the dead scientist in the large anomaly often spawned in unreachable areas.
Also I may have messed up by selling the quest Item for "new arrivals", the game doesent show anymore where to drop the gps locator and I have a gps locator in my inventory that is not with yellow background ( thats why I think I sold the good one and kept a clutter one). Is there anyway to reset the quest or spawn another gps?

You should be able to just buy a GPS from the Barman (or other relevant vendor) but if that doesn't work then use the debug menu and spawn in a GPS.

Unreachable things due to random map spawn is a known issue, either leave and come back to reroll the map or I guess you could try to noclip your way through.

thanks, I fixed it. apparently the location of the placement was still there, but wasnt marked in the map, went there and got the popup message and finished the quest.

can you remember where you placed the gps marker? im running over the docks with the same problem and cant find the spot lol

Yes, it is north east of the map.
At the docks waters edge there is a small pier leading to some cargo shipments (yellow if I am not mistaken) you have to pass under some red crane/scaffoldings at the end of the pier the popup will warn you.
