How do you get into the motel area in Makeshift Camp?

I feel kinda dumb for asking this but in Makeshift Camp there's this pretty big motel-like area with a single entrance that's always barricaded by cars so you can't actually enter it. So can you even get in? And if so, how?

You need to progress quest related to this area. If I recall it correctly, you first need to investigate the area and than NPCs clear out the entrance and you can get in.

Just to add to that answer, its on the Green Army quest giver, after completing Cleaning P1, P2, Mark a truck, the motel opening questline starts.
