You could try the Faction Relationships screen.
Where you will find that your relationship with Loners went from Friendly to Hostile, because you shot at some Loners during that visit to the forest.
You'll have to enlighten us; how do you manage to get through life without problem solving skills? XD
True, but they were specifically complaining about hostile Loners.
AFAIK, the drop point is always clear. But stuff can start wandering immediately, so a quick peek at the map to mark your goal might be all the time you get before you're shot at.
That's my experiences anyhoo!
Hunters are like you, dressed in grey though and walking around killing everything they see.
Loners usually guard their own loot or base and they are dressed in like...brownish/green but don't walk far away from the loot/base
You will likely hear them before you see them as one tends to play a guitar.
An before you all complain i am older and my vision is no longer 20/20 so differentiating between characters is important.
An for those that state that is suppose to be harder, and punishing for you as a player etc,etc is utter garbage.I believe the developers would like to release a product that is playable and you can really enjoy, difficulty has nothing to do with visual appearances but rather game-play and options.
As stated by someone above a mousing over enemy giving a description when you have line of sight would be optimal.
I had the same problems, It was terrible with hunters too. Dont worry in a few hours you will tell them apart
Having the game do any or all of that for you takes so much player involvement out of a game that is supposed to reward the player's diligence and attention to detail. These different factions aren't out there trying to announce themselves to any and everyone, because they're in the same dark forest.
I understand the challenges one might face with an issue such as colourblindness, but being colourblind in this game's world would be a serious detriment, so you could view that as an even more immersive experience, requiring you to be more careful than the average player, or picking up on more nuanced details that others might not notice entirely, coming up with new strategies and tactics to accommodate your condition and survive in the extremely unforgiving environment that this game creates.
That's just my opinion, though.
If the NPC's were similarly restricted that would be a valid argument.
They aren't (last time I played anyway) and can see you through half a forest in the dark.
Hunters are brown, never seen dressed gray, and the "loners" that guard the loot vest with brownish/green bacalava are bandits. The only loners i see in the maps is in the forest with the standard player skin playing guitar
This would be miraculous, but your profile is set to private (so I can't DM you).
