Saves Not Working? Possible Bug?

I'm very annoyed right now. It took me an hour to complete Tumult, I saw the saving icon through various stages of the level.

When I got to the end of the Tumult I wanted to stop for a well deserved break, waited for the last save icon to appear/disappear, went to the main menu, to make sure it saved I loaded my save up and it loaded into the very beginning of the Tumult level.

Does the saves work differently in the Tumult?

Hello I'm sorry for this, we will investigate :/
By any chance, is the golden elevator activated ? You can find it at the right side of the last stage of the great elevator (the same stage where you accessed the tumult).

Thanks for responding. No the golden elevator wasn't activated. But I think that was because I left the game as soon as I got to the last sleep/save area in the Tumult.

I didn't walk up the path to "complete" the Tumult stage, if that makes sense?

I went back into the game last night and the golden elevator has appeared, not sure why or how.
