Will Tekken 8 run well on 8GB GPUs ?
Do you think Tekken 8 will run well on graphic cards that have 8GB VRAM ?

Some games that were released recetly have stuttering issues on those graphic cards.(Hogwarts Legacy, TLOU part 1, Callisto protocol)

I think it will run well on 8gb gpus because those games have optimization issues.
And based on the way Tekken 7 was at launch, I think optimization will be great for Tekken 8.

In order to play TEKKEN 8 and enjoy its state-of-the-art graphics, you need to have Windows 8, Windows 10, Intel i5 with 8GB Ram
""at minimum""
https://www.pcgamebenchmark.com/tekken-8-system-requirements

TEKKEN 8 minimum requirements
Memory: 4 GB
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 510
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
File Size: Unknown
OS: Windows 10

More likely worse case there will be potato mods for such and other GPU workarounds.

I'd wait for an "official system specs" reveal

That looks fake.

That's what I'm wonderin too. Recent AAA titles literally made 8GB obsolete as the standard for max setting. I'm stuck here wondering which to get for my next mid range gpu

I got a 3060TI since I wanted to upgrade from my GTX 970 and I thought either that or the 12 GB RTX 3060 are the best choices for me.(Which I ended up with 3060TI)
You don't want to know the latest update for RTX on Cyberpunk 2077 runs at Ten Eighty p at 30fps..

Thats
1080p 30fps for a 3090..

FFFfff*******

Luckily Tekken 8 isn't open world, so Ultra 4K should still be manageable..

In theory

970 to 3060Ti sounds like big jump whereas I'm at a weird spot with 5700xt. It's technically not outofdate yet, but aren't any big leap in performance unless I jump into the higher end.

8 GB is enough i dont get it every one on the internet says 8 GB isn't anough anymore on my old PC everything work perfect at max setting

if talking 720p 1080p sure but even Youtube runs standard 1440p - 4K

Mate, my 3GB gtx 970m on the laptop runs tekken 7 of max settings let alone my 8GB desktop. Tekken 8 doesn't look like it needs anything more 8gb to run at least high settings judging from what been shown so far.

Can we at least wait fot the official PC requirements before asking questions like that?

This thread can easily spread misinformation.

On Playstation, T8 is only PS5 and PS4 is not supported.
So better to have PS5+ hardware for Win as general assumption.
But we can tweak some settings, so it would be fine some lower performance machine.

I guess 8GB would be enough. If it is not enough, probably you can not set highest texture setting. But lower setting would be fine.

I even played 750gtx desktop 1gb at max settings 720p. There were 50+ frames. If this is reduced to high, then ~60. Moreover, the ancient tri-cores Athlone II 435 participated.

GeForce 510 looks ultra cool, considering that it is older than TekkenTagTournament2 and Windows 8.0. :lol_tk:

In addition to the PS5, there will also be a SeriesS. Most likely 1650 should be enough.

For 1080p as I said ..

A good chance 720p if you want to max everything including screen space reflections
Granted the OP never said what Resolution they were planning to run T8 in.

Granted there will Probably be an auto optimization mode and DLSS

So far even in 1080p, that lighting refraction and particle effects don't look cheap if the goal being a stable 60 fps online then using the autooptimization features would be best, and a paltry 30 fps offline for screenarchery.

A 3060 ti will be plenty since that's what the OP was asking.

How much VRAM you need depends entirely on what resolution you want to play at. For 1080p, even 6 GB is fine. 8 is bare minimum for 1440p and 10+ for 4k.

Surely a fighting game doesn't need as much vram as the games you listed, I really can't see why it would need to load so much into memory

Maybe 4k would hit that limit I guess at max but the game will probably have dlss and 1440p should be fine, this isn't some huge world that needs lots of npcs and stuff to load in and hitting performance tends to be a priority when it comes to FGs
