How do I reduce Tekken Prowess?

So I made the mistake of having fun, and ranked up several characters to fujin. Problem is, now my TP is so high that I only find very high ranked players who stomp my ass on the regular and I just have enough. One could argue "lol get gud" and I agree, but this is getting kinda ridiculous, and I would like to have some mildly fair matches every now and then where I actually learn something rather than total beatdowns.

at least I think that's how it works. I only use one character and it goes up and down all the time depending on my ranking

Don't rematch anyone and do nothing in a match i.e keep walking forward and take the beating or lay down on the floor until the end.

how would you get to fujin without skill ? let alone using several

I'm flattered but fujin is really not that good... and people get caught by cheese all the time.

Several characters though .. cheese or not most the purples would know whats what with what and def a good chunk would know microstepping and good defense.

Maybe I'm comparing it to t7 a bit, but the closer to the top will still have more seasoned players.

Of course, no doubt I'm finding veterans with their 10th alt having fun, and I probably plateau'd now. I would like to just find them less.

And no believe me, "most of the purples" mash cheese on block all the damn time, that's how I got there. My own skill level has lowered considereably compared to how I used to play in T7 (in the honeymoon phase at least) my defense right now is 56 by the way, due to promoting Law like a freaking monkey.

ah Law does have optimal setups with out the need for ss, he has a strong keep away game if the opponent gives a little space. And he also has that Nunchaku.
Fair enough, Defense in this game is strong but limited by the health restore.

Is that right? Genuine question. It may be placebo, but I swear it affects it a lot in my experience.
