Eddy is fun and how Tekken should be

I don't want to think hard, I just want to push buttons and win. Eddy delivers on that. It's like Tekken 3 all over again where I can just mash buttons and everyone is helpless to stop it.

Only the top 10 percent of players can do anything about it, so if I simply one and done them, I can maintain a very high winrate and casual enjoyment of the game. I like his rageart too, seeing people ragequit when surrounded by a bunch of black guys is memeworthy.

Tekken 7 Eddy wouldn't make it in this game. He was a little slow and his mixups were pretty linear. They did, arguably, push him too far in the other direction with this game, where nearly any string has six-and-a-half paths, and now he borderline doesn't get punished. It takes a player with pretty strong knowledge of the character to take their turn back when I start mashing 2.

To their credit though, most people who are able to do that get a round on my eddy at least.

games are mean to be fun brother, if u are having fun with eddy, u won the game.
I have fun fighting eddys with Reina, there's something about her attacks that does a great match with eddy, my fav matches are eddy, claudio and other reinas.

If You die from Eddy mashing a single button then the problem is you and not Eddy. You need only rudimentary understanding of Frame data or logic to understand that mashing 3 has a ton of risk involve. The first 33 will easily get you launch by some characters.

Tekken 8 is not a game worth learning competitively so most people won't know which is good.

Exactly. Reina is one of my favorite to play against no matter which MU, she is very well made.

The game needs braindead characters. Eddy debuted as the braindead character of tekken 3, this was the logical conclusion.
