Why can't just everyone go back to Tekken 7?

No heat system, no chip damage, no easy chain throws, no 33333 easy combo with Eddy, no Reina, no Victor, no broken anime style Devil Jin. More characters, infinite stages, and free legacy costumes. People complain about Tekken 8 all the time, but they keep playing it, instead of just going back to the superior Tekken 7.

That's what I'm doing and no regrets. The only thing is that there are no players now on my rank so I can play only quick games but there is too high rank difference towards me and my opponents which is not fun.

Then come back and play tekken 8. It has a lot more players in ranked and in online lobbies because of crossplay

its a old game and unfortunately it has become a discord fighter. you dont get good matches anymore when you just hop into quickplay. people more on...maybe tekken 9 will be good again, who knows. plenty of other games to have fun with in the meantime. ♥♥♥♥ tekken 8

Definitely not worse. Faster loading times, more features, more fun combos, less cheating, etc

You're going back to tekken 7 just to learn the movesets? My guy, the characters have changed in tekken 8. Ling Xiaoyu in tekken 7 is completely different compared to her tekken 8 counter part. You are going to be completely disappointed and wasting time.

This post is the reason why I decided to try out xiaoyu again in tekken 8, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ she is much better in this game than 7. Granted 7 was my first real tekken game so i dont know about the previous installments, but xiaoyu feels like she has more of a chance in this game than 7. same with jin.

It will sell just as well, it has a higher player count than 7 ever did, and will only continue to grow as the game updates. Just because you don't like the game, doesn't mean it won't be successful lmao

I honestly can't believe you guys actually prefer tekken 7 over 8. Like this isn't call of duty. There are major differences between the two and 8 does it better. I literally went back to playing tekken 7 and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the movement is horrendous. wave dashing sucks ass and everything feels slower. The only thing I miss is Josie. Tekken 7 only had 3k players on steam when it was popular. Now it has over 18k.
