LTG Ban Concerns Me...

Yeah plugging is an issue but there is a crashing issue going on right now. I don't crash as much but sometimes I get random crashes here and there. And a perma-ban for plugging with no warning is kinda scary ngl... Not even a warning or a 2 week ban or something? Wow... going into ranked is already stressful but now I'm getting PTSD that I might get perma-banned which will force me to spend another $70 + create a new steam acc

EDIT: Also, Harada needs to come out and tell us exactly how they're getting this data to leads to their decision on perma-ban. Is it reports from players? Can they even see who disconnects in their analytics? Imagine if scrubs start reporting everyone they lose to and good players end up getting banned.

I'm pretty sure they can tell the difference between Alt+F4/Plugging vs legitimate disconnections so you shouldn't be worried. Though if you're getting crashes because of your PC or internet then you should take a break from the online for a little bit.

LTG was plugging on Tekken 8 every single day he played it and live streamed himself doing it. You will not get perma banned for a couple disconnects here and there.

you shouldnt be concerned about the LTG Ban as he's by far the most extreme form of plugger there is in the game when you're just crashing occasionally.

i mean, damn, the guy is already out there playing again on a new account and will be in an eternal whackamole game between him and the devs.

if anything it looks bad for namco because perma banning people for plugging is ridiculous, plugging is not even the same as cheating , plugging is just abandoning the match, there are better ways to handle this than permanently blocking people from playing the game they paid for

plugging might be annoying but it's not that serious, there are bigger problems like actual cheaters using lag switch and scripts

Don't worry its possible to tell a ragequitter / save scummer from a normal person.

Unless you always magically "crash" when you are about to lose that is :)

lowtiergod was plugging every day, 20 times a day, with dozens, maybe hundreds of people reporting his account
let's say he has been plugging for 50 days straight
it means he has plugged 1k times at least

Obviously, there's a difference between a few random disconnects at random times and a permanent disconnect towards the end of the fight when you lose.
Honest players simply have nothing to worry about.

you guys assume they get the data from disconnected matches, the fact that the match does not get uploaded to replays is worrying in that regard.

I wonder if Harada is working with Sweet Baby Inc and that's why they banned LTG? They just can't let him be the best tekken player in the world because he is not woke and tells people to kill themselves and is grooming girls and stuff. Harada is woke now.

Getting plugged on is a skill issue. You are most likely playing a scrub character like Reina, Victor, Xiaoyu, Jun, etc and if you are playing one of those characters you are most definitely hitting your opponent on the ground after you have already won the round. You are a bottom of the barrel scrub and deserve to get plugged on.

People who get plugged on love sweet baby inc, they are super woke and think that people want to fight their woke characters, but I only want to fight people that are easy wins and if you beat me it means you are a scrub.
