Tekken talk: Nakatsu influence not good for Tekken

As the Tekken dev talk suggests, Clive is an idea of Nakatsu - I have been having the feeling for a long time already that he is a bad influence on Tekken (should not be in a leading mgmt position) - also had bad influence on the redesign of Eddy (based on other Tekken talks)

From what I understand from Tekken talks he is also a Hworang main - that says it all, cheap af char for noobs, especially in T8... T8 Hworang is the manifestation of bad Tekken design philosophy and skills

Tekken 7 Season 1 was the absolute peak of this franchise next to 5:DR and it was directed by Ikeda as well.
I think the guy produces to order, and I think that he successfully delivered the order to turn Tekken 8 into a pile of ♥♥♥♥.

I would’ve disagreed with this take a few months ago, but perhaps you are on to something. However, I’ll still remain optimistic. There is a balance patch coming up soon, and I do hope season 2 is better than 1. Also, fingers crossed for Gigas!! Never giving up hope!!
