Leaving early is fine- but not what Devs intended.
Plugging is not intended and screws over the person who has a winstreak or is winning the match.
Plugging and running is ruining Ranked currently.
Its faster for you to play and you don't get to waste other people's time.
Personally, if I win a match I wait till my opponent picks rematch or leave and I roll with it. If I lose the first match I may leave depending on ranks involved, what char is being played and just how I feel about going again.
There's nothing ♥♥♥♥♥♥ about that lmao
makes my heart race
I always rematch no matter what, because if the opponent has destroyed me, a rematch is a good chance to get another replay for reference and try to adjust; and if I somehow managed to beat the opponent at first, I wanna run it again to prove it wasn't luck.
But if an opponent leaves after destroying me, I understand them leaving. they might not expect to get anything of value in a rematch.
And if somebody I defeated decides to ditch, I'm also ok with it, they might be having a bad day... after all, that's the only possible explanation for them managing to lose against someone as trash in the game as me.
Sure, nobody is obligated to do a full set and there are legit reasons to not complete it but if more people refuse a rematch the general experience for a lot of people is simply worse.
Some may even go back to SF6 because it feels better there.
