Why do I keep getting kicked out of player matches?

I always join player matches around my rank, good connection, my name isn't offensive and I don't have a hitler custom or anything, but I almost always get kicked out before I even get to play a game.

Why would you make a player match called "All players welcome" and kick people out for no reason? Am I missing some community nuance or is everyone in Tekken just a jerk?

its a fighting game, punching and kicking people is the entire point of the game, dont worry though you can block, just hold back and you will deflect the kicks and give you a chance to retaliate. Hope that was helpful and good luck

From past experience getting kicked for no reason in other fighting games, I highly suspect that many people make public rooms to wait for a friend, but don't know how to/can't be bothered setting the room to be private, so they just kick anybody else that enters.

Or maybe they just enjoy baiting people into entering and then kicking them. I'm absolutely certain there are people out there who do that.

Some people are also extremely selective about stats/opponent character, so if they can see you're playing a character they don't like, they'll probably kick.
