I can do nina combos with one hand, but this one seems to be bugged...
The combo for 75dmg is Df2, Uf4, Uf3 Df3,2 Db2 (in one quick execution releasing Db at a precise moment), then the end is 3+4,3 (Tornado) , QCF4,3,1+2.
Yes it is very difficult to consistently do it, it is easier with arcade stick than with controller IMO, but it is consistent if you input very precisely df3,2, db2 (need almost or frame perfect quick release of db).
You need to make sure you get the uf3 at the earliest possible moment before doing df3,2, db2, and release the db at a very precise frame moment because if you do it too late you will not hit or she will dash back (if way too late), and if you release too early she will not do the right move.
Nina is a high execution character if you want to do her best combos and make the most out of her, there is this one, but also the butterflys combos which require some specific training to do consistently in match/stress situations from both sides.
If you cannot get consistently df3,2, db2 which most players cannot because the timing is extremely tight, after uf3, you have to use df3,2 3+4,3 instead and end with qcf 4,3 1+2, for 69 dmg instead of 75. It is super consistent and the staple for Nina if you never want to drop combos.
6 less damage is just a 1 jab (ok 1 dmg more) or about half a 2 jab, so it is not a big deal to be fair. Consistency is more important IMO ( so you can relax during the combo, just using muscle memory without focusing much, and think about what comes next).
Db2 is a simple move. It is 5th move in the combo so should land all the time.
Show me other character with such complicated to execute but simple move.
I think this move is buged and should be fixed.
It is not bugged, just difficult to land consistently when used in that particular combo as you need to land the fastest version of that string. It is not just db2, it is the string 3,2,db2, there is a fast version of it and a slower one.
butterfly stuff can be kept as the high level difficult stuff, but this stuff should not have a frame perfect requirement
Even top level Nina players drop it rather often from what I've watched on YT. I was watching even the number 1 player with Nina recently, a French guy named Jodd and apparently he does not use this combo much though he uses other variants that include db2.
But in general in Tekken, nothing is random, it is always frame based, if something is actually possible, it is always reproducible with the right input timing and angle/spacing.
But that is in practice mode when doing only that ( so your muscle memory is conditioned) and it is still dropped sometimes because of how tight the timing is.
You can mash 2 after df3,2 and press db ( while mashing 2) but release on a specific frame.
The heat combo does 104 dmg, which is really good. It goes like this :
db 3+4, uf4, uf3, df3,2 db2, b3+4,3 (tornado) dash into db2 , 2+4 (heat), db2, f1+2f (heat dash), ff1+2(hold).
