We get all that ♥♥♥♥ in full priced games too though
they tried with Tekken revolution but stopped it very quickly even though the game didn't require much to produce as they only used assets from Tekken tag 2(and same graphics engine), so imagine a game like Tekken 8 x)
my point is this is not gacha, F2P could help increasing the population of the game and the popularity and help fighting games in general bringing more zoomers to the playerbase
even if there is a battepass, if the game is F2P i dont see issues with it, it would be the same as buying skins anyway, so i would be in favour of it
Cause Namco isn't insane enough in decision making board meetings to port large scale 3D workshops with intricate moving parts, compared to simple flash-like games on a flat 2D background. DOA6 tried this and failed badly.
The only largely successful models are KI, Brawlhalla, and more so you are asking for the compete death of the game being remastered due to extreme license inclusion and collaborations to sustain its profitability.
F2P will just inject advertisements like SFV had and give rise to commercialism and other forms of microtransactions that you cant even take with when the server dies.
You are just better off paying the average price in full or waiting for a sale, F2P tekken / Namco is just a bad idea.
