Is the season pass for 4 characters worth the asking price of $40?

I dunno... on the one hand the price is up par with what other fighting games charge for their character passes as well. 29.99 and 39.99 seem to be the new go-to for everyone. Some may include 5 instead of 4 characters, but here you get two stages. About the "early" access that's just psychological abuse and should not be factored in when deciding if you need a pass or not.

But on the other hand Bandai is not disclosing who you gonna get. I guess it's worth it if you don't care and would play anybody. Just keep in mind if you buy a character pass each year and the game has a life span of 5 to 6 years, you gonna pile up a large amount on just one game without realizing.

Personally, I'm not buying it (just like I didn't buy season one) because the risk is great that I'd get another overly muscular dude that I won't play ever. I did buy the pass for GBFVSR though because they said what's gonna be in and showed artwork of each character.

No it is not, f* them. I am a huge tekken fan but this is just beyond, bought full release for the full price with pre-order and now they have such price for extra content lol wat, btw you always have another option if u know u know

It is 20$ for me and I don't want to get it until i know who is in it.

Unless you 100% sure you will play all DLC characters. But let’s be real - almost nobody who bought S1 pass actually play all DLC characters.

I appreciate the reply all. I will definitely wait for 50%+ discount on both DLCs Season pass 1 and 2 before even thinking about buying these character packs.

It's a ripoff and extremely anti consumer. You save two dollars buying it upfront, but you also assume you will like all four characters. To try to entice you, they do the disgusting practice of the early access nonsense, trying to make folks who don't have the pass feel bad for not being able to use the characters they like for a few days. Never buy these passes even if they have characters you want. Bamco is scum.

If it was fairly priced like T7, i wouldve gotten the pass regardless whos in it. Now, im not getting anyone except i want the most and that too if theyre 50% off in a year or so.
