The game is dropping my inputs, even offline
The past week or so I've noticed my inputs are getting eaten up, which makes for frustrating moments in a match where there already frames of delay etc.

Anyone having same issues?

I do but only when it comes to the directional inputs.

I try to sidestep but the character jumps, I rush in with Fx3 but the character stops mid way, etc.

Annoying af.

yes, especially with directional inputs. often get hit while holding back and I also often have the same issue as Castyles where my character jumps instead of SS left or I just duck instead of SS right

for me is both actual buttons and directional inputs, although yeah mostly directional. This only started recently though idk why.
Rule out every possibility before just blaming the game itself. I have days where i can get 80% of PEWGF and others where i look like I am having a stroke. Dpads ware out and don't return to neutral fast enough or get stuck pressed in a few frames too long. IF you are directly connected via USB to whatever your controller is make sure it is connected to a non third party usb controller hub. The good ones are usually on the back and made by intel. This is actually important because everything is constantly being polled looking for an input at set intervals. If its connected directly to the motherboards chipset it's on the same clock as everything else. Also if you have a wireless controller absolutely do not use anything that is Bluetooth. Most people on pc use xbox series x/one controllers so if you have one purchase the actual wireless dongle and again plug it into a USB port that isn't garbage.

Thing is I had no problems before though and nothing has else has changed. The dpad is in good condition still so that can't be it. I think I may have updated windows recently and I wonder if maybe that did it.

yeah is definitely my computer or the game. is one thing to misinput and you see it in practice, the input will be incorrect or it might have been too late but it shows you pressed it.

My inputs are literally not appearing as if I'm not pressing the button, definitely isn't me. Using a ps5 controller on windows 10.

Happening really bad online for me. And even offline I'm still having issues. Lately it's seems like it's gotten worse. I'll just play some other games and give this one a break.
Also check your computer, or if you're in special mode. I was only grabbing when i was trying to punch and it was because i was accidently in special mode lol.
This has been a thing in Tekken since forever. After certain animations it feels like lateral movement is locked (as if you were in forced crouch state trying to ss down). I find it's best to input forward quickly in these situations to "reset" the input status.
same here after new updates game is eating my inputs like crazy also i coulndt even boot a game until i put certain command in launch option wtf is going on with this game

Yeah its T8 feature. 50/50 if whats been buffered correctly happens or not.

You gotta mash till the last moment and pray the game registers.

Yeah…

It’s weird. At first I couldn’t tell if it was the game or my controller.
