It is very true that Clive is far above any fighter; Honestly, I'd rather stop complaining about Clive out of respect for Harada and his team. If it weren't for them there would be no Tekken 8, and if we continue to insult them or belittle their work instead of just reporting game balance errors and other bugs; This path of complaints and disrespect only leads to the future Tekken 9 not being released.

the Tekken devs do a poor job, and get called out for it - most normal thing in the world
(maybe not in Japan with their strange culture of keeping face, or not talking badly about superiors, even if they are incompetent - but most of the world is not Japan, so who gives af)

That's what happens with many games... no wonder, hugely demanding people... I want, I want, damn why did they give me this, what a garbage game... papapapa... and then, many franchises of important games for many that if they appreciate it there are none, only because the gentlemen want to ask and ask, but, when push comes to shove; Nobody develops a game and even less so with what the new graphics engine entails, DLCS, characters, scenarios, game modes, outfits, etc... just to ask for it and have it delivered. I loved him too on release when I bought him and reach Bushin in a few days when my highest rank before that was Kishin which took months on Paul lol. Playing against him though I can see why people dislike him. The fact he can force mixups so easily with his stance makes him so strong and his range control means you have to let him approach you basically which is quite frustrating.

Clive is a scrub killer. insane reach, long strings, good mix ups. Heat smashes are good, but nothing out of the norm. Maybe the non-pheonix stance one does about 5dmg too much, but you know king gets to mash his out whenever he wants for 56 damage and gets a free mixup when blocked for some reason so what do I know about Tekken anymore.

His weakness are 0 and I mean 0 safe small Tekken moves outside of jab. Dude gets ran over with 0 get off me tools. No throw game at all. He has one unique 1+2 throw. That's it.

The game plays well too, they will fix the balances, you just have to tell the developers, that takes time with each patch.
